This year’s Ukraine Mine Action Conference is being co-organised by Japan. The country is one of Ukraine’s key partners in humanitarian demining. Japan has allocated more than USD 70 million (equivalent) for relevant machinery and equipment, as well as for capacity building in mine action.

The previous conferences were held in Zagreb (2023) and Lausanne (2024) and brought together key international stakeholders in mine action.
