“Ukraine's energy independence is a priority for the Government, so it is important to raise awareness of energy efficiency among small and medium-sized businesses and communities. At the first stage of the project, the Ministry of Economy, together with partners, will organize a series of trainings for housing cooperatives, condominiums, small and medium-sized businesses. The Energy Source project aims to educate participants of the events to be organized in the regions on the mechanisms of preferential lending and government support programs for energy efficiency projects and business development.
“Today we are taking a step towards Ukrainians who want to make their homes energy efficient. Thanks to cooperation with banking financial institutions, the GreenDIM Program is becoming even more accessible. This means that the majority of Ukrainians living in apartment buildings will have access to a preferential loan for the installation of alternative energy sources,” comments Yehor Fareniuk, Director of the Energy Efficiency Fund. ”It is especially important for the Energy Efficiency Fund that the Ministry of Economy promotes the development of affordable loans, because only by working together we can help thousands of Ukrainians survive the extremely difficult winter.
