Ministry of Economy: UAH 95 million to be lent for purchase of cogeneration gas plant for Brovary
Ukrainian banks continue to lend to the restoration of energy infrastructure. On 10 October, Sense Bank signed an agreement in the amount of USD 2.3 million, or more than UAH 95 million, for the purchase of a cogeneration (combined heat and power) unit with a capacity of 3.3 megawatts.
The energy equipment will provide electricity and heat to the residents of Brovary. The unit is scheduled to be launched before the start of the current heating season.
“The Government is doing everything possible to restore the energy infrastructure damaged by russian shelling. Ukrainian business is also actively involved in building an extensive system of flexible generation. The installation and connection of a modern cogeneration unit will provide Brovary residents and utilities with electricity and heat this winter,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa.
Sense Bank and DALORT LLC signed an agreement to finance the purchase of the cogeneration unit. The agreement was concluded for a 5-year term with an interest rate of 13.5% per annum for the first year of financing, and a floating interest rate of UIRD12M + 3% starting from the second year of financing.
