Ministry of Economy: From today, fuel prices in Ukraine will be reduced

According to the Ministry of Economy, fuel prices in Ukraine will be lower from today. Now diesel fuel will cost UAH 5 cheaper (reduction from UAH 44.90 to UAH 39.96 per liter). Gasoline is more than UAH 7 cheaper (reduction from UAH 43.52 to UAH 35.76 per liter).

This was due to timely decisions made by the Government and Parliament. The Verkhovna Rada passed a government bill to abolish the excise tax on fuel and reduce the VAT rate from 20% to 7%.

"Thus, we achieve a balance when the price is reduced due to a radical reduction in taxes.

Thanks to this, we will be able to accumulate enough resources for the sowing campaign and transportation of critical cargo, including food.

Available fuel will activate a number of economic processes that will bring Ukraine closer to victory," the statement of the Ministry reads.
