The Government has adopted a Resolution that will allow one to exchange or order a driver's license in a mobile application and on the portal Diia (Action – ed.).

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers amends the Regulations on the Procedure for Issuing Driver's Licenses and Admission of Citizens to Drive a Vehicle.

“In the Diia, one can order a service to issue or exchange a driver's license. It will be possible to simply open the application, order a license and then pick it up at the nearest service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We got a lot of appeals asking to do that and now we are finally ready to launch this service,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Digital Transformation.

To exchange a driver's license in Diia, one will have to fill in the required fields, indicate the valid medical certificate on the date of application and submit an application.

3.7 million Ukrainians, of whom 1.5 million use digital driver's licenses, have updated Diia 2.0.

It should be noted, the Verkhovna Rada made digital documents in Diia app equivalent to paper documents.

The Resolution was drafted with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
