Ukraine’s can grow twice as fast provided that pace of the reforms already initiated is maintained. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced on the air of Rivne 1 TV channel. Today, June 13. the Head of Government visited Rivne region and talked to local media outlets.

"At present it's impossible to halt reforms, that’s incredibly important. We can achieve economic growth twice as fast. And all economic achievements will be reinvested in better quality of people's lives ", the Prime Minister said.

The Head of Government emphasized the tangible results already achieved and he stressed that bigger results are ahead. "When I came to work in the Government, the minimum wage was $50, now it makes up $ 150. Is it a big sum? No, it’s not.  I can also be criticized for this, but I know how to ensure that the minimum wage is worth $ 300.The same situation is with pensions. I do not remember any  Government that had carried out two recalculations of pensions in a year and a half besides one is being carried out automatically.  And I know that my duty to people who have a long working record but received small salaries. We need to help them, thus it is still necessary to work towards this direction", Volodymyr Groysman stressed.

Transformations, according to the Prime Minister, are fundamental. "For example, roads. We began to actively build roads since 2017. During this period we built 6800 km of roads. For the past 10 years the total volume of road works is significantly smaller. Now this needs to be continued. We have a strategy - to connect regional centers with high-quality roads. The strategy is designed for 5 years. So, we have three more years during which we can invest money in order to continue to building new roads. I can be criticized for anything. But I know for sure that all my actions are aimed to ensure stability, growth and investment in people's lives", Volodymyr Groysman underscored.
