  • Residents of frontline areas to receive money to buy solid fuel

    The relevant resolution was adopted by the Government today. It provides for a one-time payment of UAH 21,000 to vulnerable households in frontline (border) communities for the purchase of solid household fuel.

    The first priority will be given to residents living within a 10-kilometre zone from the state border with russia or the contact line. These are the communities of Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Chernihiv regions.

    The cash assistance programme is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR.

    The relevant act was developed by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories as part of the implementation of the Plan of Priority Measures to Stabilise the Life Support of the Population in the Territories where Military Operations are Conducted. This Plan was approved by the Government Decree No. 583-r of 25 June 2024.

    Implementation of the act will help meet the needs of vulnerable populations in the frontline areas for household fuel in winter.
