Small privatization: Government adopts a decision allowing to ensure a fair price when bidding and to speed up the process of conducting auctions

The Government has approved a resolution that will allow the process of small privatization to trigger from September 1. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on August 23.

"The terms of auctions to be repeated are shortened, as well as the process of transferring property to the winner. Objects will be privatized immediately with the necessary documents. The method of determining the value is being improved, therefore providing an opportunity to ensure a fair price when bidding and speed up the process of conducting auctions. At that, the principle of transparency and openness remains key," the Head of the Government emphasized.

Privatization of state property, according to the Prime Minister, is one of the main items on the agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers in activities. Also, the Government plans to focus, in particular, on increasing exports and ‘new logistics’, implementing the eRobota business grant program, stimulating demand for Ukrainian products, maximum digitization of all processes in the interaction of the state and businesses, the development of industrial parks and ensuring the passage of the heating season.
