Nearly UAH 650 million in investments: construction of modern factory begins in Cherkasy region

The enterprise will become one of the largest producers in Ukraine of high-protein feed additives and animal fats. The total investment value amounts to UAH 649.8 million (approximately EUR 14.4 million).

In the Zvenyhorodka community of Cherkasy region, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for the future Feednova Center factory. This marks the start of an important investment project that will contribute to the development of industry, the agricultural sector – particularly livestock farming – and the creation of added value in Ukraine. After all, the enterprise’s products – high-protein feed additives and animal fats – enjoy stable demand on the domestic market and have high export potential, especially in EU countries, the Middle East and Asia.

To date, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture has provided the investor with a conclusion on the feasibility of implementing the project. The resolution on signing the agreement between the state and the investor is at the stage of coordination with central executive authorities. In the near future, an agreement between the investor and the state will be signed.

“Feednova Center is an example of how state support, private investment and strategic vision can unite to create competitive production in Ukraine. Even during wartime, Ukrainian investors see prospects, trust state mechanisms and invest in high-tech processing. It is enterprises like Feednova Center that form the foundation for economic recovery, regional development, job creation and modern industrial policy under the Made in Ukraine principle,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Vitaliy Kindrativ.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the future Feednova Center factory was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Taras Vysotskyi, who stated: “The launch of the new Feednova Center enterprise is an indicator of Ukrainian business confidence, which not only survives in difficult conditions but invests in modern production and contributes to veterinary-sanitary and epizootic well-being in the region. The collection and efficient use of meat processing by-products form the basis for sustainable development of the agricultural sector. Importantly, Feednova Center is not just about business, but about responsibility to the environment and the country as a whole.”

Within the framework of state support, among other incentives, it is worth noting that Feednova Center – one of the largest producers in Ukraine of high-protein feed additives and animal fats – will become the first project in Ukraine to receive compensation for the cost of constructed engineering and transport infrastructure facilities as early as 2025. The total amount of state support is estimated at UAH 172.1 million.
