On 15 May, Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, visited the Ukrainian pavilion at the international exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan. As part of his official visit to Japan, he paid special attention to the Ukrainian pavilion, which presents a unique concept of values that cannot be sold. During the visit, the King got acquainted with the exposition and the concept of the pavilion, which demonstrates the indomitable Ukrainian spirit and the importance of protecting fundamental values.

On 13 April, Ukraine opened its 'Not For Sale' pavilion at the international exhibition EXPO 2025. For more than a month now, visitors have been getting acquainted with the concept of a store where nothing can be bought. After all, each ‘product’ in the store represents a certain human value - freedom of speech, the right to choose, unity, etc.

"The visit of King Carl XVI Gustaf to the Ukrainian pavilion at EXPO 2025 is another manifestation of Sweden's support, which we have felt since the first days of the full-scale war. This includes military, humanitarian, and financial assistance, as well as support for demining and Ukrainians who have sought refuge in this country. Today, it also includes support for the Not For Sale pavilion, where we talk about the values that Ukrainians defend at the cost of their lives. We are grateful to everyone who have visited our pavilion. Over 100,000 people from all over the world came to visit it in the first month. At the beginning, people lined up in queues and we had to hire security guards. This demonstrates that the world stands with Ukraine, the world supports us," stressed the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

The Ukrainian Not For Sale pavilion at EXPO 2025 will be open until 13 October 2025 and invites all visitors to join the dialogue on values that are not for sale.
