Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the Ceasefire Agreement between India and Pakistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes the agreement on a complete and immediate ceasefire between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, achieved with the constructive involvement of the United States of America. We commend the valuable contribution of the United States in facilitating this diplomatic outcome. We express our hope that the effective implementation of this agreement will constitute an important step towards the de-escalation of tensions and the strengthening of stability and security in South Asia.
