Ukraine condemns the recent ballistic missile tests conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile on December 18, 2023, is yet another piece of evidence of the North Korean regime’s systematic disregard for relevant UN Security Council resolutions on the DPRK’s nuclear and missile programs.

Ukraine supports the efforts of partner countries to exert pressure on Pyongyang in order to uphold the international order and prevent actions that could lead to further aggravation of the security situation on the Korean Peninsula and in the whole world.

A strong response should also be taken against the actions of those countries, primarily the russian federation, that, in violation of the international obligations, provide assistance to the development of North Korean nuclear and missile programs and continue prohibited cooperation with the DPRK.
