On 22 July 2024, Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko held a working meeting with a group of experts from the Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict.

The purpose of the visit was to present projects aimed at implementing the Framework Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the UN on the Prevention of CRSV and the Action Plan for its implementation (Framework Programme).  

During the meeting, Kateryna Levchenko drew attention to the progress in the implementation of the Action Plan to the Framework Programme: "Visits of this level of experts help to establish communication between all stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Framework and closer synchronisation with UN structures, including monitoring missions that come to Ukraine under the auspices of the UN. I hope and believe that by working together we will manage to build an even more effective system of assistance to victims of conflict-related sexual violence and do everything possible to bring russian barbarians to justice for their crimes."
