The Cabinet of Ministers took note of the official statement of the Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and by its order of April 28, 2021, №370 offered its members to remain in office for the period of a new selection process and election of new independent members of the Supervisory Board.

The Government hoped that Naftogaz's Supervisory Board, in continuation of best corporate governance practices, would take a stand on the further performance of its duties. This will ensure efficient, independent and sustainable management of the major state-owned company NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

The Cabinet remains committed to the corporate governance reform in line with OECD standards and which is aimed at improving the governance of public sector enterprises.
