Denmark has announced the allocation of the 17th military assistance package to Ukraine worth DKK 2.2 billion (USD 313 million).
DKK 200 million will be used for investments in the Ukrainian defence sector. Among other things, the funds will be used to strengthen maritime capabilities, purchase ammunition, drones and the production of missile components.
"I thank Denmark and Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen personally for their unwavering support and strengthening of Ukraine's defence capabilities," said Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
According to Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, he visited a number of Ukrainian defence companies in Kyiv in March. It is clear that there is great potential for future cooperation that can provide Ukraine with the necessary equipment to help change the situation on the battlefield.
