Industrial parks, grants and new business opportunities: Yulia Svyrydenko meets with entrepreneurs in Vinnytsia region

We are working with Ukrainian manufacturers in Vinnytsia region. Entrepreneurs in the region are actively taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Made in Ukraine policy. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko. 

1. Industrial parks

In Vinnytsia and the region, they are developing, building infrastructure and launching new factories. The Prime Minister reminded that industrial parks can receive up to UAH 150 million for development to create industrial infrastructure and connect to networks. The requirements include co-financing, commissioning of production facilities and attracting manufacturing investors. Applications for 2026 are being accepted until 15 August. Over the past two years, 22 industrial parks have received support totalling UAH 1.8 billion, with 56 projects currently underway there.

2. Development of Ukrainian manufacturing

As part of her visit, the Prime Minister visited the company "Promavtomatyka", which has been operating for 26 years in the fields of electrical equipment manufacturing, engineering and industrial automation. The company utilises the ‘5-7-9’ programme, a grant for production equipment and the ‘National Cashback’ scheme. It provides employment for over 800 people. In the face of a skills shortage, women are being trained in traditionally male-dominated professions. The SPS Installer training programme has already helped over 150 women from across the country to master a new trade.

3. Training and retraining

The Ukrainian economy needs skilled workers. The Government, in partnership with the business sector, is working to encourage women to enter professions that were previously considered male-dominated. This involves the development of training vouchers, retraining programmes and the ‘Reskilling Ukraine’ initiative for female lorry drivers, machine operators, car mechanics, welders and other in-demand specialisms.
