Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine Harsh Kumar Jain.

German Galushchenko informed the Indian side about extensive destruction of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine as a result of massive missile strikes by Russia, as well as temporary constraints of energy supply for a large number of Ukrainian consumers.

The Minister stressed that energy companies are making extraordinary efforts to restore power supply. “It’s just a few days left before winter and we need to restore electricity supply networks as soon as possible. The word “urgent” is too weak to describe how badly we need it,” said German Galushchenko.

Harsh Kumar Jain assured the Ukrainian side of full support and readiness to provide the necessary assistance.
