Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk participates in the World Energy Leaders' Summit (WELS) held on October 11, 2018 in Milan.

Within the framework of the WELS the Minister held working meetings with representatives of the Governments of the United Arab Emirates, Algeria and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The sides discussed promising directions of cooperation and activation of practical interaction in the energy sector.

In turn, Ihor Nasalyk invited his colleagues to participate in the IX International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development to be held on November 12-15, 2018 in Kyiv.

In the course of the Summit a special emphasis was placed on tracking trends in the field of energy. Participants also discussed opportunities and challenges for future energy sustainability. Also, considerable attention was devoted to the formation of a new energy future, innovations in the energy sector and new energy transition projects.
