Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman called on the heads of the diplomatic missions of Ukraine to engage in the government's "Ukraine without smuggling" campaign by responding quickly to cases of unlawful actions and providing information on the movement of goods based on their real price, origin and quality. The Head of Government made this statement during a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine.
He stressed that eradication of smuggling is a matter of honor. And those financial flows stuffng the pockets of crooked officials should be directed to serve the interests of the state and citizens who need protection, new conditions of education, medicine, and social security.
"Our position is clear - we are moving forward and will continue to root out gray imports and smuggling. The state authorities make requests on imports and exports, hence I urge you to respond to the requests from the State Fiscal Service, customs, law enforcement agencies and to facilitate prompt reception of information from international partners", the Prime Minister said.
