The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman pushes forward the development of a balanced draft State Budget for 2020, in which there would be preserved all the social initiatives that are currently being implemented, inter alia growth of wages, pensions, as well as the social assistance programs. This was stated by the Head of Government in the program Svoboda Slova (Freedom of Speech) on the ICTV channel.

"For me, as a social Prime Minister, it is critical to include (in the budget) qualitative indicators", said Volodymyr Groysman. "For me, the priority is to improve the quality of life for the people."

The PM stressed that one of the tools for achieving the goals will be the adoption of a package of bills drafted by the Government, which were designed to bring the standards of life of Ukrainians into line with the European standards. These initiatives have already been submitted to the Parliament and should be considered as soon as possible.
