Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman supports  creation of industrial parks, primarily in the regions, because this will allow to attract technologies, investment  and create new productions.

"I stand for creating industrial parks. These are competitive rules and efficient mechanisms allowing to invest and earn more," Volodymyr Groysman said.

At the same time, the Head of Government warned against repeating the negative experience of the 1990s and early 2000s, when industrial parks and free economic zones  became sources of corruption and smuggling, thus devalued the efficient incentive that yields positive results across the world.

"Changes we are implementing are not just targeted transformations. This is retrofitting of the the system that will have  positive impact on all spheres of life," the Prime Minister underscored.

    Background

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman actively and consistently backs the idea of establishment of industrial parks and advocates for the formation of the necessary legislation, which would consolidate the successful experience and allow to apply it as one of the tools for creating new jobs and a high-quality national product.
