    The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed the leadership of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia to report weekly on the situation with cargo and inland transportations in order to promptly solve any problems pertaining to the railway transport. The Head of Government made this statement during the Government sitting.

    "If the Ukrainian railway is not capable to ensure logistics, it will be a blocking factor for the economic development. It is essential to provide transit and transportation of goods. We eradicated the problem of carriage distribution. Now we have to solve the problem of railway traction, "the Head of Government claimed.

    He also drew attention to the fact that the control of passenger traffic is on the agenda.

    "It will be a good thing if the management of Ukrzaliznytsya will take passenger trains and  see what is happening there, in particular, in night trains", the Prime Minister noted.

    In the course of the Government meeting an acting Chairman of the PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia Yevgen Kravtsov presented the results of the state company's activities in the first quarter of this year. According to the results of three months, the company improved its results , in particular,  financial indicators, job creation and capital investments.
