Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has commissioned the Ministry of Infrastructure to work out a program for providing preschool and school-age children with special reflective sets that will allow drivers to see children in the road. The Head of Government said this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He stressed that the issue of protecting the lives and health of traffic participants this year had become a priority in the policy of development of the road sector. Thus, the responsibility of drivers for violation of the speed regime increases, the program "500-500-1000" is implemented - the construction of traffic circles, island sites and other objects is underway. But the security needs to be strengthened - especially when it comes to children.

"I would like to put forward an initiative and instruct the Ministry of Infrastructure to think about how to provide children with special equipment, so that they can be seen in the evening. It will be a substantial measure, that will also affect the level of security", said Volodymyr Groysman.
