The Foreign Minister pays a visit to Brussels

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba is paying a visit to Brussels.

"It is time to legally consolidate Ukraine on its path to the European Union and make Europe stronger, safer and more prosperous," the Minister said.

Among the key topics:

the sixth EU sanctions package, which should include an oil embargo;

further supply of weapons to Ukraine;

granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership;

EU assistance in rebuilding the war-torn regions of Ukraine, supporting Ukraine's economic recovery;

further integration of Ukrainian goods and services into the EU single market.

The Foreign Minister of Ukraine took part in a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers and held a number of meetings with high-ranking EU officials, including:

EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi;

EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni;

EU Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič.
