French companies interested in Ukraine’s recovery: Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture meets with French business delegation

Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Pavlo Kartashov held a meeting in Kyiv with a French business delegation organised on the initiative of Business France, with the participation of UkraineInvest Executive Director Maryna Khlystun.

They discussed the participation of French companies in post-war reconstruction projects and new opportunities for investment cooperation.

The delegation consists of 8 companies, including Bayard, Ingetec, EcoSun Innovation, LCR, Riou Glass, Technique Topo, Timelapse Go, as well as representatives of the French Embassy in Ukraine and Business France Director for Ukraine Romain Desthieux.

The parties discussed the implementation of the Grant Agreement for EUR 200 million, which includes 19 projects for the restoration of critical infrastructure, as well as the preparation of a new Grant Agreement.

The Ukrainian side presented the main directions for investments:

• residential construction;
• transport;
• energy;
• industry;
• agri-sector.

In addition, the Ukrainian side presented the investment portal and Investment Guide, which contain over 250 projects in 11 strategic sectors.

“French business demonstrates genuine support for Ukraine – not just political, but practical. Interest in investments in recovery and infrastructure projects is growing, and this is a good signal of solidarity and trust in Ukraine. We see France as one of the main partners in modernising our economy and jointly forming a new European architecture of resilience,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Pavlo Kartashov.

Both sides confirmed their readiness for further cooperation in recovery, innovations, and attracting investments, which will contribute to the further development and sustainability of the Ukrainian economy.
