Power engineers of Mykolaiv region get power equipment from international partners to restore electricity supply

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has handed over to JSC Mykolaivoblenergo more than 80 tonnes of power equipment provided by international partners to conduct repairs and restore power supply in Mykolaiv region. By the end of the week, the region will receive another 70 tonnes of equipment.

“Mykolaiv is a frontline region and its power facilities are subject to regular russian shelling with artillery, drones, and missiles. Power engineers carry out repairs 24/7. And we are very grateful to our international partners for this equipment, which will help restore power supply to thousands of residents of the region,” said Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.

Among the donor countries that have supplied humanitarian aid to Mykolaiv power engineers are Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, France, and Azerbaijan.

The shipment includes various types of equipment, including power transformers, backup power plants, poles, and electric cables.
