    Since the beginning of 2024, businesses have received 24,068 concessional loans under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme totalling UAH 90.5 billion. Since the launch of the programme in February 2020, businesses have attracted 103,100 loans worth UAH 357.4 billion. Last week, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received 512 concessional loans worth UAH 2.1 billion.

    “More and more concessional funds received by businesses under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme are being used to develop the real economy. This stimulates the modernisation of production facilities and the creation of new jobs. The vast majority of new loans are issued for the development of processing production, investment purposes and support for businesses operating in the area of increased war risks,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa.

    Under the programme, businesses received:

    • UAH 22.4 billion for processing;
    • UAH 22 billion to replenish working capital;
    • UAH 21.2 billion for lending in the high-risk combat zone;
    • UAH 19 billion for investment loans.

    The most commonly lent businesses are those operating in agriculture, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade.

    Among the regions, the leaders in terms of the amount of loan agreements concluded are Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava regions and the city of Kyiv.

    As of today, 46 banks participate in the programme, with Privatbank (47,900), Oschadbank (15,800) and Ukrgasbank (5,700) disbursing the largest number of loans since the programme’s launch.
