The Government is allocating an additional UAH 2 billion to Kyiv to support preparations for the winter season, including the protection of energy facilities and ensuring uninterrupted heat supply. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

As part of the implementation of Kyiv’s Resilience Plan, the state is already financing the procurement of modular boiler houses, for which UAH 966 million has been allocated.

The additional funding is intended to help protect residents from potential heating disruptions during the winter months.

“The Government is helping the local authorities fully implement the capital’s Resilience Plan and ensure the city is properly prepared for winter,” the Prime Minister said.
