Ukraine’s State Budget has received EUR 236 million under the PEACE in Ukraine project. The funding was provided by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under a guarantee from the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden.

The financing will be used to support key social expenditures and pension payments.

The PEACE in Ukraine project was launched four years ago to provide budget support to Ukraine during the war. Following the latest disbursement, the total amount of funding mobilised under the programme has reached USD 53.5 billion.
