A new checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Romanian border open for Ukrainians


Another international border crossing point for railway passenger traffic has been opened in Zakarpattia. The checkpoint operates at the Rakhiv railway station for citizens traveling to/from Romania by train.

The Rakhiv checkpoint for railway passenger traffic will be open around the clock, but only for the period of martial law and 90 days after its termination or cancellation.

In addition, to travel to Romania, Ukrainians can use the following state border crossing points that operate in the conditions of martial law:

1. Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmaţiei. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons, as well as cars and crossing on foot are allowed.

2. Porubne - Siret. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger vehicles, trucks and crossing on foot are allowed.

3. Dyakove - Halmeu. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger, freight vehicles, passenger buses, cars and pedestrians are allowed to pass.

4. Krasnoilsk - Vicovu de Sus. The checkpoint is open from 08:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons and crossing on foot are allowed.
