    During his working trip to Kyiv and Cherkasy regions, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal got familiarized with the activities of the ViD Garment Company, that had moved their operations from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

    "Since the beginning of russia's full-scale aggression, our Government has been helping enterprises to relocate production to safe regions and resume work. Almost 700 companies have already been shifted, more than 480 have resumed their activities. Today we paid a visit to one of these enterprises," the Prime Minister noted.

    Today, the sewing company is a mobile production company, which enters the TOP 5 leaders of Ukraine in garment production for the largest holding companies of Ukraine. Active work is currently underway to expand production in Cherkasy region, where the company was relocated.

    The Head of the Government was informed, among the staff currently working at the enterprise, 20% are internally displaced persons from various regions. Denys Shmyhal reminded that the state reimburses UAH 6,500 for wages for each IDP employed. The company confirmed receipt of compensation for the employment of such category.
