Creating conditions for as many Ukrainians as possible to return from abroad is among the Government's priorities. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government session on 5 March.

"To this end, we proceed with the rapid recovery programme. Today we allocate an additional UAH 9.3 billion for 13 regions. These resources will be used to repair residential buildings, schools, hospitals and critical infrastructure facilities," the Prime Minister said.

According to Denys Shmyhal, the issue of the return of Ukrainians is not about administrative measures, but only about incentives.

In particular, it is rapid rebuilding of infrastructure, greater security, better living conditions, and more opportunities for self-realisation.

In this regard, the Government also continues European reforms. The Prime Minister stressed that the dynamics of European integration should remain as high as in the previous 2 years.

"We expect that this month the European Commission will approve the negotiation framework with Ukraine. This is one of the key steps to start the process of negotiations on our accession to the EU," said Denys Shmyhal.
