Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić. The Head of Government thanked her for the important decisions taken during the Council of Europe Summit in Reykjavik. In particular, for the creation of the International Register of Damage caused by russian aggression, which is an important step on the path to justice.

"We appreciate the principled position of the Council of Europe in countering the russian federation," the Head of Ukrainian Government noted.

The parties also discussed the next steps to be taken for the victory of our country.

"We are counting on the Council of Europe as an important platform for communication between European states to bring about a just peace and to punish the aggressor," summed up Denys Shmyhal.

Marija Pejčinović Burić assured that the Council of Europe would continue to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine and make efforts to bring russia to justice.
