In March this year, Ukraine will receive a record budgetary funding from our allies over the entire period of the war and in the history of independence. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Cabinet session on 29 March.
It is more than USD 9 billion:
"These are highly important resources that greatly help our Government to finance all critical budget expenditures," said Denys Shmyhal.
Also today, Ukraine received USD 1.5 billion from the World Bank. According to the Prime Minister, these are funds to support development policy (DPL), which the Government will use for social, humanitarian and recovery purposes.
Denys Shmyhal thanked the World Bank, Japan, the United Kingdom, the EU, Canada, the IMF and all partners who stand by Ukraine.
