During the working trip to Berlin on October 25, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked the European Union for its readiness to disburse EUR 18 billion in 2023 to help Ukrainians.
Denys Shmyhal and Ursula von der Leyen tackled the creation of the Financial Coordination platform and the recovery of Ukraine. The parties also touched on the topic of challenges and threats, in particular nuclear blackmail of russia and the passage of the heating season.
On October 24-25, the Ukrainian delegation led by the Prime Minister of Ukraine is staying in Berlin at the invitation of the German side to participate in the International Expert Conference on the Restoration, Reconstruction and Modernization of Ukraine, organized by Germany, the European Union and the G7 countries.
