Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited an energy facility. They inspected the progress of preparations for the heating season and the work on infrastructure protection.
According to Denys Shmyhal, the protection of energy facilities is one of the key tasks of all relevant authorities.
“It is also important to develop the power system using renewable energy sources. We discussed with the Secretary the possibility of cooperation with American companies. We presented concrete projects for investment and joint implementation. We are working on the restoration and development of power plants affected by russian shelling,” the Prime Minister said.
The Head of Ukrainian Government noted that the United States was among the leaders in coordinating energy assistance to Ukraine in the G7+ format. He thanked the partners for their support, as well as the energy sector workers for their resilience and professionalism.
