During his visit to Lithuania on 5 April, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda.

"Lithuania's comprehensive assistance has been and remains exceptionally important for Ukraine. In particular, we look forward to continuing fruitful cooperation in the defence sector," the Head of the Ukrainian Government stressed.

The parties also discussed sanctions and the confiscation of russian assets, humanitarian aid, and Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO.

Denys Shmyhal noted that the Ukrainian Peace Formula remains the only comprehensive plan to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity and ensure security for the international community.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine conveyed to Gitanas Nausėda the best wishes of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and thanked him for the extraordinary level of support from the Lithuanian people.
