    Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala. The meeting took place in Prague on 28 May as part of the working visit of the Head of the Ukrainian Government.

    The parties discussed the implementation of the artillery initiative, which has already raised more than EUR 1.6 billion.

    “It is important for us that the ammunition is delivered on time, systematically and according to the schedule starting in June,” said Denys Shmyhal.

    The heads of government also discussed the possibility of using the weapons of Ukraine’s partners for defence on the aggressor’s territory. Denys Shmyhal thanked Petr Fiala for his support in this matter.

    Other topics of discussion included joint production in the defence industry and joint efforts to increase pressure on russia. Sanctions, confiscation of russian assets, the peace formula, and topical issues of cooperation.

    The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the Czech Republic for its comprehensive support of Ukraine.
