During the working trip to Warsaw, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal presented the United24 platform, initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to international partners and donors.

Denys Shmyhal explained, the United24 is a global initiative to unite people around support for Ukraine. The first components of this initiative were the Recovery Plan and the Recovery Fund, which were officially launched this week.

"We expect that the Fund will be filled from 5 sources: assistance from partner countries and international financial organizations, assistance from large international corporations, frozen, confiscated assets of russia, contributions from individuals, assistance from international humanitarian organizations and charitable foundations," told the Prime Minister.

According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine is already working in all five areas. Three of those operate through the mechanisms of the IMF and the World Bank, two more - through the online platform U24.

Ukraine is also engaged in elaboration of a detailed Recovery Plan. According to Denys Shmyhal, the basis for it will be the principles of regionalism, when partner countries and corporations help to restore a particular city or region, and parametricity, ie the development of specific parameters for rebuilding and transforming each sector of the economy.

"We will not just rebuild destroyed buildings. In their place, we will implement modern architectural solutions, taking into account the principles of energy efficiency, barrier-free environment and innovation," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister stressed that the ruined Ukrainian cities would become a construction ground for the entire world, where Ukrainian architects and builders, together with their international partners, would have an opportunity to design and implement modern urban planning projects.

According to Denys Shmyhal, the key focus for the new Ukrainian economy will be economic freedom and the creation of better conditions for doing business, attracting investment, and digitalization.

"We believe that the new Ukraine will be an example for the whole world, while the rapid post-war recovery and economic prosperity of Ukraine since the end of the war will be our common objective together with international partners," said the Prime Minister.

According to the Prime Minister, the partnership with Ukraine will be mutually beneficial for the whole world community. And the future well-being of Ukrainians must prove once again that the path to democracy and economic freedom brings the greatest benefit to the state and its citizens.
