On Tuesday, July 21, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal introduced the new head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Olha Pishchanska.

The Head of Government stressed that throughout 20 years Ukraine had made significant progress in the development of the anti-monopoly sphere, and it is critical to prolong the advancement along this way.

"The state should not talk about the fight against business, but only about the fight against abuse of monopoly power. This is the approach of civilized countries, and we must use it in all directions," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister expressed support for the new leadership and staff of the AMCU and assured of the Government’s readiness to cooperate effectively in order to ensure the realization of the common vision of the state’s development.
