Denys Shmyhal: Ministry of Economy works to ensure the consumers have fuel in sufficient amount and at relevant prices

Government is working to ensure that there is enough fuel and that the price remains relevant under current realities. Prime Minister accentuated during the Government session on May 10.

“Everyone understands that there are objective reasons for this situation - russia is deliberately destroying reserves and processing facilities in Ukraine. Therefore, the team of the Ministry of Economy works 24/7 to overcome the deficit for all consumers,” stressed the Head of Government.

Denys Shmyhal noted the Gov’t engaged in activities to simplify the import of fuel to Ukraine at the maximum, as well as to extend the geography of obtaining such fuel. In particular, during its session the Cabinet of Ministers endorsed relevant regulations necessary to import fuel from the Persian Gulf countries, Azerbaijan and the Middle East.
