Such an agreement was reached with the management of Centrenergo. Mine managers must use these funds to pay salaries to miners.
In addition, the Ministry of Energy provided additional funds for salaries to miners. Thus, in December, about UAH 90 million will be allocated for these purposes, which, at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy, will be redistributed from other budget programs of the Ministry due to savings.
The Ministry announced on its official resources on December 9 that work on securing the payment of salaries was underway and ways to finance it had already been found.
It should be noted that the transfer of over UAH 700 million from Centerenergo is already planned for this week. Therefore, we call on the relevant trade unions to cooperate in providing the most transparent informing of the employees of coal mining enterprises about the planned payments.
We also call on the trade unions to join the control over the implementation of the 80/20 principle, according to which, under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, 80% of all funding received by the mine management should be used to pay wages to miners.
It should be noted, in the fall a resource worth about 1 billion UAH was additionally allotted to the Ministry of Energy from the State Budget. They arrived at the coal mining enterprises in full according to the planned schedule: about UAH 700 million - in November, UAH 300 million - in December.
In August of this year, more than UAH 390 million was allocated for miners' salaries due to the redistribution of expenditures from another State Budget program.
In the spring of this year, the Ministry of Energy also ensured the payment of over UAH 830 million in salaries to miners due to the approximation of sums with the planned amounts under the relevant budget program.
Thus, the Ministry of Energy has provided full payment of state support to miners for the current year from the funds provided under the State Budget and solves the issue of repayment of current debts on a permanent basis as well.
