Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, posted 22 February 2023 17:08

On February 22, the Diia.Business center in Bucha presented the Financier educational program for small and medium-sized businesses as part of a trilateral partnership between the Diia.Business network of centers, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, and Mastercard.

As part of the Financier educational program, experts will share insights into financial management, trends in Ukrainian entrepreneurship, technological solutions, and marketing strategies.

Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from Bucha, Irpin, and Gostomel communities and representatives of the IT sector joined the program presentation.

Valeriia Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for European Integration, delivered a welcoming speech: "Doing business during the war is a challenge that Ukrainian entrepreneurs did not expect. But statistics show that they are starting and continuing their activities. Thus, in 2022, Ukrainians created 33,837 legal entities and 201,295 individual entrepreneur businesses. Thanks to the Financier program, entrepreneurs, including future entrepreneurs, will be able to find out information that will help them start or maintain their own business. This is extremely important, as businesses will be the driving force that will help us rebuild the country after the war."

As part of the cooperation, a special consulting zone was opened in Bucha, where every entrepreneur can receive free financial advice from UKRSIBBANK and Mastercard.

The official part was followed by a lecture for entrepreneurs on the role of IT in the country's economy.

    Background

The Financier program has been operating since September 16 in an online format in the Diia.Business network of entrepreneur support centers. It is gradually expanding offline.

Presentations of opportunities for Ukrainian business have already taken place in five cities: Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, and Odesa. Bucha became the sixth city to implement the Financier educational program.
