The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna said that 618,158 people had already received the necessary assistance at the expense of funds obtained on the humanitarian account opened by the NBU for the Ministry of Social Policy. For these purposes, there have been spent UAH 111.5 million.

"Due to the fact that we do not just finance the applications of recipients, but organize cooperation when part of the cost of assistance recipients bear or provide a certain stage of rendering the necessary assistance, we manage to provide more people with available resources.

The funds are distributed to recipients for various types of assistance: evacuation of civilians from places of active hostilities, accommodation, catering and psychological assistance to internally displaced persons, provision of medical supplies and food to people in war-torn areas, transportation of humanitarian aid, purchase of generators for deoccupied communities.

Due to the combination of resources and opportunities, we have a high efficiency of funds," commented Maryna Lazebna.

To date, 49 recipients, including public and charitable organizations, sanatoriums, territorial centers of social services (social services provision centers), city and village councils, medical institutions, and rehabilitation centers have obtained humanitarian aid to help people.
