"The cooperation with Turkey is incredibly important for the Ministry of  Internal Affairs. We are stepping up cooperation between our countries. The focus is on a joint program to counter transnational  organized crime. It is important that we have a shared vision concerning this issue - only rigorous steps", Arsen Avakov underscored.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed other issues of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, in particular, the continuation of methodological and logistical assistance for the development of the National Police.

The Interior Minister also said that a group of Ukrainian policemen will soon go to training which will be held in Turkey.

It should be noted that the Ukraine-Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia contact group  was created in order to fight the organized crime.
