Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with members of the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha commented on a meeting with leadership and members of the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries: “I was pleased to start my working visit to Finland by meeting the country’s leading defense companies, members of the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries. 

I thanked Finland, its government, businesses, and people for supporting Ukraine, most importantly, with timely military aid.  

Finland understands very well what it means to resist a brutal and unprovoked aggression by moscow. 

We discussed practical ways to further develop mutually beneficial defense cooperation. Ukraine is a contributor of security and innovative defense technology. 

I invited Finnish companies to attend the next international defense industries forum in Ukraine this autumn and proposed to consider a separate Ukrainian-Finnish defense forum. 

I also expressed Ukraine’s strong interest in Finland’s unique experience in shelter construction. We are grateful to Finnish friends for leading a relevant coalition and look forward to developing its activity."
