Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Aliona Babak partook in the plenary part of the Second Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and Belarus.

Aliona Babak noted that almost 900 participants from 23 regions of Ukraine and 6 regions of Belarus presented products and demonstrated their potential at the Forum.

«Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Cherkasy regions, as well as the cities of Kharkiv, Ternopil and Novograd-Volynsky have brought memorandums and agreements on cooperation to sign with the regions and cities of the Republic of Belarus. A total of 17 agreements on cooperation were signed - 2 intergovernmental and 15 interregional. We believe that the list of interregional agreements will continue to grow, as such interaction would only contribute to the economic development of our communities, regions and countries as a whole”, she said.

The plenary session was held with the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko.
