On March 22, 2023, Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych met with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Country Director for Ukraine Roberto Vila-Sexto.

During the meeting, the parties outlined the issues of further cooperation and the involvement of the NRC’s experts in new projects in the social sphere to be implemented by the Ministry.

The parties agreed to continue to provide international assistance from the NRC and support vulnerable categories of Ukrainian citizens affected by the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.

The Ministry of Social Policy and the NRC Ukraine signed additional agreements to the Memorandum of Understanding for the provision of financial assistance based on the data of Ukrainian beneficiaries. In 2023, additional financial support in the amount of UAH 2,220 per month for three months will be provided to 50,000 more Ukrainian citizens who applied in 2022 using the eDopomoga platform.
