    Fellow compatriots!

Today the whole country bows its head in mourning and commemorates the feat of the participants of the Revolution of DignityHeroes of the Heavenly Hundred .

Four years ago, events, which took place on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square, shocked Ukraine and the world and left deep wounds in our hearts. Firearms were used against peaceful protests, and demonstrators were subjected to severe persecution and harassment. At the beginning of the 21st century, Ukrainians were confronted with flagrant human rights violations, which resulted in mass murder of citizens in the center of Kyiv.

The heroic struggle of Ukrainians for their own dignity, freedom and fundamental constitutional rights and European choice was spread all over the world and became an example of unprecedented courage, resilience, dedication to the ideals of freedom and justice.

Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred at the cost of their own lives fought for the future in confrontation with the cruel and insidious enemy without any humanitarian values. The best sons and daughters of Ukraine were killed, but brought down an oppressive regime, which wanted to deprive the future of a generation of Ukrainians

We bow low to the fallen heroes and light the candle in memory of the victims!

    Glory to Ukraine!

    Glory to the Heroes!

Prime Minister of Ukraine                                                           Volodymyr GROYSMAN
