Deputy Minister of
Defence of Ukraine for European
Integration Lieutenant General Anatolii Petrenko held talks
with Defence Attaché at Romanian Embassy in Ukraine Capt.
1st Rank Iuri-Aleksandru Kovaleov
to mark the
end of his
term of office
in Ukraine.
Lieutenant General Anatolii
Petrenko thanked the attaché for cooperation and contribution to development of bilateral military
cooperation between Ukraine and Romania.
“Thank you
for your exceptional contribution to development of relations between
the defence ministries of our
two countries covering many spheres,
for contribution to development of defence capacities
of Ukraine and increase of
capabilities of the Armed Forces
of Ukraine”, the Deputy Minister
of Ukraine said, “I would like to thank
you for your
activeness, positive view, readiness to cooperate to
achieve the best results, and
effectiveness”.
Military diplomat thanked
the Ministry of Defence of
Ukraine for support and cooperation.
“We have
managed to establish good relations. I think the relationship between our two
ministries have got a new impulse
and were fruitful. We have
been cooperating at the level
of naval forces, Ukrainian service members attend English courses in Romania,
your cadets undergo training on board of
our ships”, Capt. 1st Rank Iuri-Aleksandru Kovaleov mentioned.
On behalf of
the Minister of Defence of
Ukraine, Anatolii Petrenko awarded Iuri-Aleksandru Kovaleov with Ukraine
Ministry of Defence Medal ‘For
development of military cooperation’.
